HR Professional (Remote)

(Part Time with option to advance to Full Time)

Responsibilities (Recruitment and Hiring:)

  • Job Posting and Advertising: Developing and posting job openings to attract qualified candidates.
  • Application Processing: Reviewing and processing applications, conducting screenings, and arranging interviews.
  • Background Checks and Reference Validation: Performing thorough background checks and validating references.
  • Hiring Decisions: Making employment decisions, including hiring and termination.
  • Orientation and Training: Providing comprehensive orientation and ongoing training to new hires and existing staff.
  • Performance Management: Conducting performance reviews, evaluations, and providing feedback.
  • Employee Relations: Addressing employee concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate personnel files, including employment data, compensation, benefits, and other relevant information.
  • Benefits and Compensation: Managing salaries, wages, benefits packages.

    Qualifications

    • Education: A bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, organizational psychology, or economics is the minimum requirement.
    • Experience: Direct HR experience, especially in healthcare settings or providing HR services to the healthcare industry, is highly valued.
    • Certifications: SHRM-CP (SHRM Certified Professional) and the HRCI’s aPHR, Associate Professional in Human Resources) can demonstrate expertise and knowledge.

    Salary Range: $28-$32/hr

    Administrative Assistant (Remote)

    Responsibilities:

    • Scheduling: Coordinating client care schedules, caregiver assignments, and managing on-call availability.
    • Communication: Acting as a point of contact for clients, caregivers, and other stakeholders, responding to inquiries, and communicating updates.
    • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate and organized client and employee records, including scheduling information, contact details, and relevant documentation.
    • Administrative Support: Assisting with tasks like answering phones, processing paperwork, ordering supplies, and managing office equipment.
    • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to clients, caregivers, and other individuals, ensuring a positive experience.
    • Special Projects: Assisting with various special projects, such as new client onboarding, policy updates, and quality improvement initiatives.
    • General Office Tasks: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting with office maintenance, and managing supplies.
    • Human Resources Support: Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and employee record-keeping.

    Qualifications

    MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST FOR EMPLOYMENT

    • High School Diploma/GED: This is the minimum requirement.
    • One Year of Administrative Experience: Preference given to candidates with at least one year of experience in an office setting, handling tasks like scheduling, record-keeping, and communication.
    • Associate’s Degree (Preferred): May prefer or even require an associate’s degree in a related field like business administration or healthcare administration.
    • Related Experience: Experience in healthcare, or working with clients and families, can be advantageous. 

    Skills and Abilities:

    • Excellent Communication Skills: Administrative assistants need to communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other healthcare professionals, both orally and in writing.
    • Strong Organizational Skills: Prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and keeping records are essential for this role.
    • Time Management Skills: Being able to effectively manage time and meet deadlines is crucial.
    • Problem-Solving Skills: Administrative assistants may need to address issues or concerns that arise in the office or related to client care.
    • Attention to Detail: Accurately recording information and following procedures is important.
    • Proficiency in Office Software: Being comfortable with computer programs like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is expected.
    • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Building rapport with staff and clients is an important aspect of the role. 

    Salary Range: $16-$17.50/hr

    Registered Nurse

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs in-home patient assessments and collaborates with the care team to develop and implement a plan of care.
    • Makes referrals to other disciplines as indicated by the patient’s identified needs or documents rationale for not doing so.
    • Promotes patient health and independence through teaching and appropriate rehabilitative measures, assisting patients in learning appropriate self-care techniques.
    • Supervises CMTs, CNAs and HHAs.
    • Completes documentation timely and accurately.
    • Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager and care team.
    • Plans and provides staff education.
    • Participates in clinical development and continuing education programs.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST FOR EMPLOYMENT

    • One (1+) year of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
    • Current RN license, specific to the state(s) you are assigned to work.  Compact licensure welcomed.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.

      Salary Range: $35-37/hr

      CMT (Certified Medicine Technician)

      Responsibilities:

      • Medication Administration: Administering oral and topical medications as prescribed by a physician, under the guidance of a licensed nurse.
      • Record Keeping: Accurately documentating all medications administered to residents, based on their specific charts.
      • Pain Management: Notifying appropriate licensed staff when a resident reports pain.
      • Other Tasks: Performing other duties as assigned by the agency.
      • Policy Compliance: Ensuring all medication administration practices align with agency policies and procedures.
      • Safety: Prioritizing the safety and well-being of residents when administering medications.

      Qualifications

      MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST FOR EMPLOYMENT

      • Education: Completion of a 20-hour CMT training class
      • Experience: At least one year of experience working in a care-giving setting.
      • Lincesure: A valid CMT license from the MBON.
      • CPR/BLS/First Aid: A current valid CPR/BLS/First Aid certificate from the American Heart Association (AHA).
      • Open availability, able to work various shifts to include weekends
      • Current CPR/First Aid certification
      • Physical and 2 Step PPD
      • Able to lift, position, and transfer patient
      • Experience operating a Hoyer lift
      • Compassionate, respectful, committed to excellency and a good attitude
      • Reliable transportation.

        Salary Range: $17.50-$19/hr

        Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

        Responsibilities:

        • Provide client care according to the Plan of Care
        • Assist client with personal care and hygiene
        • Light housekeeping and meal preparation
        • Follows infection control procedures
        • Maintains client privacy and confidential client information

        Qualifications

        • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, Home Health Aide (HHA) certification, or MD CNA program completion
